The Bible is God’s way of telling us about God and about who we really are. The Bible cannot fail. It is the answer to all problems. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
There is only one God, and God is revealed to us in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (John 1:14, John 10:30, John 14:26, Philippians 2:5-7)
Humans are created in the image of God. Many centuries ago we lost our close relationship with God through willful sin. That close relationship can only be regained through accepting and confessing the supernatural birth, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ – that is, through salvation, which is free. (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 5:1, Genesis 9:6, 1 Corinthians 11:7, Romans 5:1, Romans 3:24, Ephesians 2:8-9)
Baptism is an act of obedience to God. Jesus demonstrated the way of baptism, which is identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, Matthew 3:13-17, Luke 3:21). We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16)
We believe that Jesus will return for his church. (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Hebrews 9:28)
